Most of these books have been broken up for the colored plates. This one remains one of only a few available complete books.. Includes 30 full paged color plates by J.W. Ludlow, 15 B&W full paged plates and 100's of B&W illustrations, 600 pages including index. Large 8vo (11" x 9") morroco. Raised bands to spine. The plates are in excellent condition except for 1 damaged color plate (Rouen Ducks p536...4" tear repaired with cellotape). Front shoulder of spine was once separated from front board, but has been reattached. New end papers added.
